Product development

On the web side, I added Runkeeper as a new integration for tracking workouts, and built in some more "self-serve" functionality, like the ability for suspended users to reactivate their accounts without emailing us, and the ability for all users to export their data as a zipped set of JSON files without emailing us.

Belle began adding Apple Health integration to her iOS app, and brought insights into its Dashboard tab.

Marketing

I continued writing links posts for the Exist blog, and published the unabridged version of an interview I did for ReadWrite, titled the future of activity data.

Other business stuff

Belle and I had some big chats about the future of Exist and how to make it more useful. We agreed on a new approach that will see us start to split Exist into separate "products", each with their own use case and value, rather than trying to mush varied functionality into one interface. I started planning the logistics of how this will happen.

In Littlelogs-land, I purchased and set up an SSL certificate so I could enforce the HTTPS-only requirement of an API protected by OAuth2. I fleshed out the API and wrote some very sparse docs, paving the way for users to create and manage their own OAuth2 clients with API access.
