Existing monthly, August 2015
This one's going to be brief because it's so overdue.
Product development
In the Exist web app, I added "how you compare" banners showing how users' steps, sleep, and productivity compared to the global average. I also introduced real-time step insights showing how your progress is going during the day, which carry over to the Android app too.
Exist for Android received the ability to update location, meaning users have another passive option besides Swarm and Moves.
Marketing
This month Belle found time to write two posts for the Hello Code blog about the process of building Exist for iOS — Introducing the dashboard, and Adding the mood card.
Other business stuff
Our side project Littlelogs switched from plain-text to markdown-powered posts, with post length also increasing substantially. I'm quite pleased with this as it helps differentiate Littlelogs from Twitter and makes it a comfortable place for "mini-blogging", a term I just made up.
Hot on the heels of these changes, Littlelogs appeared on the front page of both Hacker News and Product Hunt, garnering a modest reception and influx of users.
